They cover song because they don't want their shows to be short. I admit, I don't really like the karma police cover, but I think Slow Motion is good. I liked this cover, and that is coming from a Third Eye Blind fan. [p.s. don't talk this as being offensive. I'm just expressing my opinion just like you are. I don't mean anything mean by it]

very true, he uses technique like vibrato and sighing.. but you can tell he doesn't FEEL the pure urban decay and detached turmoil that Jenkins originally instilled in the song. he said the lyrics are "pretty insane", kinduva sign he can't personally tap into the meaning of the song

Uhh, reality check. The only reason there is "Rydon" is because some girl fans make up the fact he is gay to cover up for the fact they could never happen. Same thing happened with Pete Wentz but because he's dating someone, the fans let up because they had a reason why they couldn't date him.

actually when he gets to climax at 3 mins or so he hits the high note really well, they sound just like jenkins
