If you guys see a bra and a ipod on the summit, those belong to me. I left them there last time I summited (which was way back when everest was a real mountain, 290,000 feet).

This is a ridiculous claim. I work in huge freezers that are -50 to -60 F not including wind chill - which is roughly 20 MPH. It is possible to spend several minutes in it with regular clothes and with just a simple jacket, 15 minutes or more with khakis on is no problem. This idea of "freezing instantly" is stupid, though he would likely not be able to get his penis hard since the body at those temperatures shifts blood flow to your core.

A company is working on a elevator that will connect the base of the mountain via tunnel to the summit. The trip is estimated to be 15 minutes long.

well. . . Vaseline is just petroleum jelly which is a mixture of hydrocarbons, and is differs from water greatly at a molecular basis. This product would never actually freeze outside of lab conditions, which means it needs to be hundreds below zero. otherwise petroleum products like glass never are solid, just hard (VERY slow moving molecules)

still, I'd be interested to find out if Vaseline freezes at those temperatures.

at the summit of everest air temperatures can reach as low as 100F below zero, but on the best of days probably around 20F below. with wind chill you would have about 15secs before your balls are solid ice. would prolly take enough energy out of you so that you would die on your way down, have fun :)
