    No. I did this using Apple's Final Cut Studio. I used Motion to mask the lightsabers over the swords and SoundTrack to edit the sound effects. I Googled MovieMask though and it looks interesting.

    excellent work--considering what you had to work with, (and believe me, I know how hard it is with video editing when you don't have the raw footage!) this was excellent. especially the sword clashing noises. it sounded close enough to me like lightsabers colliding. good job. :)

    Thank you. Yeah, I wanted to take the sword sounds out, but don't have the source material. Since it was straight from the DVD, and I wanted to keep the music and voices which were all one track, I had to take the sword crashes too.

    I always appreciate constructive criticism, thanks. Yeah, those frames were pretty early on and I was using this to learn the process. It was also rough because they were thin steel blades instead of the bright colored carbon fiber tubing used on the Star Wars sets, so they were easy to lose in the keyframing.
