Hey Guys, 2nd Video. First One about something actually. This video will show you guys how to make free custom ringtones using only itunes.
1)Pick a Song(Pick a favorite song of yours, it doesn't matter if it was purchased in the iTunes Store or anything)
2)Right-Click and go to Get Info
3)When you are in the Get Info Box go over to options. Change the Start and Stop time to anything you want within 30 seconds.Make sure both boxes are clicked.Click OK
4)Right Click Once again and Go to "Convert Selection to AAC" The song should come up as a 30 second song.
5)Next, Again right click and click delete, remove it, but dont move it to trash, keep the file.
6)CLOSE ITUNES!!!
7)Go into finder(mac) or search for files in windows for the name of the song. Two should be found. Check for the one that is M4A if they are both look for the 30 second version. Rename the file from M4A TO M4R. This converts it to a ringtone file.
8)Drag it to you desktop
9)Double click and it should pop up as a ringtone in itunes

    can i have some advice on how to convert it to m4r (changing the name)? i tryed left clicking and right clicking but no luck.. left clicking just starts the song and left click does nothing that helps. thanks dude.

    Windows xp users: all you do is once you have the file in the i tunes folder, convert it like he said into the ringtone format and drag it into the ringtones section, next just click on your i phone tab and go to ringtones tap and sync it from there. Thanks a lot I Man, i was about to start buying them myself but you saved me!!!! : ) good luck all

    hey i did everything and it all worked up until i had to get it in my itunes library... i deleted it, clicked remove, then clicked to keep the file, but then i cant get it in my itunes and i changed it to m4r and everything but how do i get it to show in itunes?

    this way is easier... once u have M4a file... find the file, rename is changing M4a to M4R.. it will ask you to confirm it.. then drag into library.. and u done..
