yeah it's pretty good but there wasn't enough diversity. Too much Armitage and 3runs tuff and not enough david belle or original french stuff. It was pretty good but yer. Overall nice video man

According to Wikipedia, heheh, this story in particular—and also this sort—is meant to illustrate how human love becomes divine "through separation and longing." And they also mention that Layla and Majnun's is called a Virgin Love since they never marry or even come close; I found that interesting because I always wondered why they bothered making a point of the fact that Amar is probably a virgin—

and there's someone on Youtube who commented on Satrangi Re that Dil Se is similar in many ways to the legend of Layla and Majnun—do you know it? Maybe you do but I'm going to keep going anyways because I found it interesting; the story is about two lovers who are kept apart by their families; Layla's father refuses to let Majnun marry her, and the separation drives him pretty-near insane. So he writes poetry about her, chanting it everywhere, and casts it to the wind—

That's good, then, that he really did save the president (I agree with you that he had a lot to do with it)—but then I have to think that if the CBI was on their way to stop them anyhow, what was the point of him detonating Meghna's bomb? True, she would have been carted off to prison...and maybe the CBI wouldn't have reached her in time...but also, I was reading about Sufi poetry last night since it's supposed to have such a big connection with the movie, as I think you said as well;

and then when he finds her and she discovers that he is not dead, it's already too late—since strapping on the bomb is like the equivalent of Romeo drinking the poison (and like, in the sort of silly changed ending of the Leonardo version, when he discovers she's still alive just after he's drunk the poison.) And I never saw the footage of the CBI stopping the attack! It's not on my DVD at all; I checked. Is it like news footage?

Aaaagh, yeah, I think she might have said "yes" to him if she hadn't thought that he'd been shot over the phone. I never realized, until you pointed it out, that she thought he was dead when she strapped on the bomb—which maybe is stupid of me, but which is still true. That is sooooooo frustrating, and kind of reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet, if you think about it—since the fact that she thinks he is dead drives her (at least in part) towards her own self-destruction;

Here's the sad part- she didn't want to try on the bridal jewellery set. She even offered to call Preti, but the women were like "we cant find her, so whAt harm is there if u try it"

That look on her face when they make her try them on just kills me every time. So much despair & a tiny little bit of hope. Then Amar comes downstairs and looks at her, his feelings written all over his face. When he leaves, her face again becomes expressionless

Even tho, her comrades had gone thru a traumatic past, I felt that they were selfish. Meghna was so close to healing, but they kept preventing that (they were manipulataive). They often reminded her what their mission was (nurturing her anger)

And, when they realized tht Amar was a bigger threat than expected, they decided to eliminate him... When she wore the suicide-vest, I knew she was going to die, but I didn't expect her to take Amar along
