  • he's not picking ...

he's not picking he's decoding, and where do you suppose kids are going to get a make up key like the one in the video? I could give a kid a new lockpicking set and he's not just gonna stick picks into a house lock and open the door right away. but I don't understand how the customer is cheated. These people need to learn better English. it's lock picking, not "pick lock" and if it takes him 20 minutes to decode that lock, then it did its job protecting the customer.

  • Its is not about ...

Its is not about getting in, but about opening the lock. Opening a door can do anyone (unless you're a complete moron :p) but opening a lock with a lockpik needs skill. so.

  • It is really ...

It is really impressive to see lockpicking at this level, but it's also somewhat unrealistic. In a real situation, the bolt would be basically invisible because it would be buried in the door jamb, so you wouldn't really get any visual feedback from that, which would make the whole process a lot more difficult, I think.

It takes a long time to pick that lock. So, it is worth it. No lock is pick lock proof.

  • Well, 35 minutes ...

Well, 35 minutes for an old lock not being made, that's meant as a secondary lock isn't too bad. What happens with the other regular style lock? Unless it's locking a safe, I'd say a crowbar or chainsaw would be an easier way to get in.

  • ABLOY Protec is ...

ABLOY Protec is completly unpickable. Older versions of ABLOY can be picked but for all the trouble they cause being picked its just not worth it. Stop picking old technology thats not promoted anymore.

Yeah this doesn't prove anything. If it takes this long on a front door you might as well break a F**king window or something.
