Ug. The sound is louder than it recorded. Maybe I should install some acoustics on it.
Yes, the sound is coming from the plasma. It works by modulating a hi-frequency signal, and thus making the plasma change thickness really fast, depending on the sound. A plasma speaker is the most efficient speaker, since it's massless and has no moving parts. I blow it out a few times to prove that the plasma is making music, and I also stretch it out to show how it affects the plasma.
