....Yugoslavia's economy was growing formidably and then yeah democracy came now the country also turned to S**t and their people are killing eachother.

...The Communist might have made a lot of mistakes but they've realized it and now Vietnam is the 2nd fastest growing economy in the world,we should give them a chance...
About demoracy,I think it should only be implemented to Vietnam when our economy has become strong and should be implemented slowly.Remember the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia?The Soviet government implemented multi-party system too fast and in the end the country turned to S**t because of the peretroiska and finally collapsed....

Well,about freedom of religion,I don't see any religion suppression anymore,(I'm Catholic btw),we're free to do anything as long as we do not disrupt public order.Sure we have some issues concerning freedom of speech but it's now being improved.About gagging Nguyen Van Ly,it's individual act,not the government's policy,Nguyen Minh Triet even said that and the cop who gagged Ly will be punished.And the government is doing their best to improved the life of the people and root out corruption...

I did not like the way VN communist rules the country right after 1975, but I was surprise that how well they're doing now, even though, corruption everywhere, no freedom of speech, religion, news. VN future will only get better once the younger generation are in control (I hope). There is one thing I must say: "we forgive but not forget!" History lessons of what they did to the people of South VN (soldiers, people, religion icons, writers) must be remembered. It's a shame if we forget that.
