The Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page amp. The Gretsch 6156 box playboy amp made by Valco with 6973 power tubes and 3-12ax7s, 5Y3GT rectifier. This amp is a classic Valco made in Chicago and is very similar to the Supro 1624 with the infamous 6973 tubes except it is a little hotter than its Supro brother. From jazz to hard rock these little tone monsters are still very underrated partly due to their scarcity. It features a 12 Jensen speaker that has a 550 code that Jensen put on all Valco amps. This particular model was the last of the line thus has the biggest cabinet of the bunch and is the most desirable. Its cousin the Supro 1624 or model 24 doesn't put out quite the gain that this little brother of the Valco line does. A modded tube screamer was added and could be heard when on, also a modified wah, almost an exact replica of Clapton's wah during the Cream years, and a modded univibe. Recorded on a Zoom Q3
