You seem like a heart that is close to God. Remember that you are his treasure even despite the promises you may or may not have kept. He will always hold you in the palm of his hands, close to his eternal heart as he did Francis. Don't be afraid to give him all you can. Pray for this gift, because it is a gift of liberation. great video. My school's name is Franciscan School so obviously, we learn about St. Francis' life and al, so every year the sixth graders go in a pilgrimish to Rome and Assisi. I went last year with my family: beautiful, brilliant, just...wonderfull. nd tomorrow I'm going with my classmates! pray for us please, so the trip goes fine. thank you!

Very good video! Mickey Rourke is great. Id like to think that Francis is a good friend of mine. My patron Saint. OUR Saint. Everyones good friend. He is precious and very special and he can teach so many people so many things if people would only let go of their vices and fears. Myself included. I dont give God enough of my time. Repentance is needed to approach God's mercy--A humble and contrite heart, you oh Lord will not despise (psalms). The indulgence means, the effects of those sins which you have committed are removed as well, and this is truly a great miracle of purification. Francis lived this throughout all his life, and thereby became a great saint. But, he had to give up many things. We are called to be courageous in how generous WE DECIDE to be with God, who is all good, all-loving, and all-merciful.

i always liked St. Francis, and i admire his merits in this world. Christ inspires everyone in this world to lead a holy life and sometimes we doubt ourselves. its natural. God will call the most humble, the most loving, the most poor, the most artistic, the most lovable, the most quiet, everyone to make a difference in a society. We are called to be saints like St. Francis, we are called to share the Passion of Christ, we are called to become martyrs of our faith. We are called to live saintly.

Christ was pleased with the faith of this saint. He can be pleased again, with YOUR faith. Never give up. Walk the walk, but patiently, humbly, as did Francis, and you too, can add something to this world which does not come from human power, but is born of God. May the humble poor man in heaven say a gentle word of you to the King of Kings when he speaks to him. ;) peace

Thank you fifalacious---I was there just this past Jan 18---and I didn't even know anything really about the church....went on recommendation of a friend. I felt such peace in the chapel---and asked forgiveness. I cried when I saw this clip last night---and shocked about the promise. Tears are with me now. Thank you. Pray for me.
