I take the plunge and install Windows Vista Ultimate and Office 2007. This process was painful due to the having to install it twice to do a "clean" install and I still had to clean up after the fact. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=5932 --- Here is a link to one of the articles I spoke to perform the clean install on an upgrade. Many people are of course talking about this right now and are trying to determine what path they should take. I will get into more details about the experience with the next pieces of video. The overall installation experience was slow and again having to do it twice to get a clean install did not start my Vista experience off on the best of footing. I knew coming in that with the media being a DVD it was going to take more time and am fine with the length of a single full install, but doing it TWICE... ugh! My son pops in and out of this video and some interesting ambient sounds occurred with him playing in the background, in this piece you get the Away We Go audio from one of his toys. Away We Go indeed...its like flying Jet Blue and sitting on the runway for eleven hours.

    i can't get vista to install on my computer.
    after the second reboot it goes black and i can't do anything. i have 1.5 gb of ram so it's not that. i have no plugged in usb devices (heard that vista has problems with usb's during install). 110 euros wasted.

    Vista is the best operating system ever made. Why? Because it delivers! Been using since early last year, and its great. One on my old PC (3.4 WIE), my current PC (4.8 WIE) and laptop (4.6 WIE)... all three runs "BEAUTIFULLY"...

    My laptop came installed with Premium, my PCs I installed Ultimate... its just fantastic.

    Not enough RAM? Just use a compatible flash drive (I use Kingston 2Gb Vista ReadyBoost) and its freakin awesome!!!

    BioShock on Vista is awesome!!!

    you're computer is probably not supported. I would suggest turning aero off. please do not say it S**ks . Commercial software especially Operating Systems are very hard to create. please only complain if you could develop a stable operating system (like Vista).
