Just according to your segment here: I am sure that you haven't read "Yi Jing". Please becareful to make absolute statements. China was the richest and the most techonological country on earth until 1800's. Lots of chinese inventions had contributed to move the world forward.

Plato was just another slave in the system. he claimed he didn't know, cause the truth was being hid from him and the world, if he knew he wouldn't told everyone. your perception of everything is clearly western ideology. most philosophers unfortunetly were slaves to the system and thats all they speak of. the truth is not artificial and the truth does cost money! reality cannot be washed in any natural disaster.
