    I've only ever driven a standard Scooby, but from what the road tests i've seen and read of both the Evo is faster on a track but the Subaru is the better all rounder. Just depends on how many track days you do as to which you'll buy. Then again, the Impreza is more common than an Evo so that could influence your decision as well.

    Well having driven both and various versions of the Impreza and Evo, and I own the Impreza and I can say this. Overall the Evo is a better car when it comes to speed and handling. However when looking for a well rounded car for performance, handling, and build quality I found Subaru to be better. No the Subaru is not the best performer in its class, but I find it has a better build quality.
