Seen both cuts and have to say Lester's original cut was better.

I have never watched Smallville cos I am the Firstlove too.The age I've seen it in,the music blew me away than and Christopher Reeve was a boen Supersoul,and a Superhuman the way he parted this world.May he rest in peace.Love this version the best.Thank You!!!!

This is my favorite movie of all time since I was six years old! This scene always chokes me up. God Bless Christopher Reeve!

As far as I know, the only Donner version you can get is the "Superman II: The Donner Cut".

I just bought the Superman Ultimate Collection. But I got a little problem. Which version of Superman II am I going to see? Richard Lesters or Richard Donners?

Helicopters are known as 'Choppers'.

It is REEVE not Reeves. Reeves was Superman in the 1950's.

You forgot to thank the producer's. Also the Director... how could you forget to thank Richard Donner? Despite their falling out, they made the movie. I never get tired of watching this scene.
