I'm a 'Firsts' nut. I love to look back at beginnings and shed a small tear in nostalgia at a hero's first transformation, revelation, etc.
Everyone from Supes, to He-Man and She-Ra. I love 'em.

This one is from the original Superman, starring Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder. This is at, roughly, an hour into the movie.

As a real life aviator, I'll forgive the MANY radio relay inaccuracies.

I especially like the (later and not included here) Mayday call that includes "Tener".

"Niner" is the only '-er', so as not to confuse it with the German 'Nein' - for 'No'.

    Sadly, you'll be watching Lesters.

As far as I know, the only Donner version you can get is the "Superman II: The Donner Cut".

    I may be wrong, though.
    Anyone?

On an unrelated note to everyone:
I JUST noticed that the pilot called in and identifies himself as "Copter".

    Helicopters are known as 'Choppers'.
Can't believe I missed that after a million views... lol.
