I actually disagree with you on that, i do agree with some of your points but look at Leona Lewis and Kelly Clarkson. They arnt the typical Celebs u c in america, they dont take their clothes off for publicity and they are extremely successful in america. Kelly especially, i think america faveour talent just as much as britain!

Thanks for posting this live vid. Ist das live? goes to prove how good she is. It is as if she sings for the fun of it and any note she can hit with a powerfull voice. Reminds me of Taylor Dayne from the 80's and yes I would.

I disagree, my friend described it as such: In America, people want to be entertained, talent isn't a strong indicator. She mentioned Christina Aguilara, strong voice, but became much more famous once she started taking off her clothes. Britney Spears, weak voice, decent dancer, skyrocketed (barring current events).
America looks for celebrities not artists :(

Her music itself isn't very marketable in America. She has an r&b voice and much of her music is def. pop-rock. She has a strong voice, but very gimmicky-sounding.
