The (New) Outer Limits (1995) - "Lithia"
Season 4, Episode 17 (1998)
Part 4 of 5

Introduction:

Major Jason Mercer wakes from a cryogenically frozen state to find that he is the only male left alive.

Opening narration:

"Evolution teaches that the failure of a species to adapt will result in extinction. But could an entire gender fall victim to the same immutable loss?"

Closing narration:

"The differences between men and women have been debated among philosophers since recorded history began. If indeed males are, by their nature the aggressor, it is this quality that may one day be their undoing."

It seems to me, the man has kind of poor character... Man should be strong in his high morals - that's why he's strong. Not to take anything he wants by force - that's weakness in fact.
The point is the society is working on high moral standard so of course it's working well. If the man had a good character, there would be no problem either.
So it's not about man vs. women - it's about the simplicity, nobility a happiness of living with high moral standard.
There's much to learn for us, I think
