Though you may not like this fighter because of its age, please remember that it was the lead-on to many modern craft. Everything must have a beginning, and this was one of great style and exceptional performance for its day.

I have watched Bob Hoover fly a number of shows in several different types of aircraft. There is no doubt in my mind that he is the finest, most accomplished pilot who ever lived.

If you ever have the opportunity to watch the video of his flight in the Aero Commander during which sets a glass on the glare shield and puring it full of water while barrel rolling the plane without spilling a drop and keeping the water level, don't miss it.

That is what makes it beautiful dumb ass it's a piece of great history, and the fact that Bob Hoover is flying it makes it a million times greater . But your scope is quite limited to value anything like that. Dumb Ass ! Educate yourself !

I had the great fortune to fly the F-86F for nearly five years. The best assignment was the 531st Ftr Bmr Sq. We the Atlantic in the middle of the winter and then throughout Europe, Scandinavia, North Africa, the near Middle East, and some of us, to Saudi Arabia.

These were the best years of my over 61 years of active flying. The F-86F was the best bird of them all, and if I go to heaven, I hope that Ol' 52-5227 is there waiting for me.

nice to see a great plane from the 50s.....just sad the phil air force has no planes to really defend the philippine skies.....anyway who will attack the phippines.....lol

i know.... But in this time the govt. should modernize our planes.... Our neighboring indonesia, malaysia and china had great air powers...

I dont like this fighters its too old.. We need to buy more fighter plane from abroad like SU,F16,f22,A10,MIGS and bombers.....

Much more sad because of Panfilo Villaruel. He designed planes for our the Philippine air force, for his dream, Self-Reliant Defense. He was killed by the Philippine Government, for that he fought against the Government for its corrupt officials. These dreams, ended, in the NAIA control tower...
