Well just to keep the record straight this song is not meant to be an anti America comment, or pro Saddam for that matter. It's a comment on the futility of war, the oil motivations behind the war. It's a song for Peace.Peace for the whole planet, and all the people. No one deserves invasion.

Our government didn't put us into a position to be hated, these people have been raised to hate us. There hate everything the U.S. stands for. They view the U.S. as the devil and drill that concept into there children. If we pulled out of Iraq, that would make the U.S. look weak to them and we would get attacked all the time. Where would you rather have a war? There's going to be war one way or the other. You can't preach peace to people that don't know what it is.

This is not and anti-soldier song. It's a call for peace. American soldiers are being paid to do a job. It's your government that should be ashamed of putting it's soldiers in the position to be hated. American soldiers have been used to support American oil interests under the guise of bringing in democracy. War does not bring peace, peace brings peace.
