You're My Best Friend was John Deacon's first single ever released, written and recorded in 1975 for A Night At The Opera. It was written with very affectionate words for his wife. The B-Side, '39, is definitely one of my favorite Queen songs. It's got such a melancholy tone, and a remarkable 12-String guitar solo/intro. You should definitely give it a listen!
