Me, and a few friends had a school project called "The City". It was about to improve the city. Our thought was that there wasn't good enough access to the internet in the city. What device does is from an access point, send signal to the dishes, which sends Wi-Fi signal, 360⁰ around the device. The signal range should be about 2 kilometers radius around the device.
I like that smart project and i think that works!!!

Good video though.

if u want to extend receive signal u can use satellite dish converter. connected it to 12V - connect converter f connector to wifi antenna - but u must enter one capacitor in serial - it protects your devices from dc current.
-also u must fix a bit converter amplifier oscillator part as is created for higher freq's
Thats Sweet i'd like to see this project happen
By gasyxx58 [Affiliate User] 1218862190 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei havnt tried to mke it reach 6 km. the calculations shows that it reachs 2 km. the problem is, for an example if we take a guy with an iPhone. the iPhone's wifi modul might not be as powerfull, to SEND signals back to the dish. it can maybe recive, but i doubt it can send 6 km. but if a person got like a laptop with him, and he puts a wifi pen and build a dish around it, and point it at the location wehre the sender is, then it is possible to reach 6km and up.

UPDATE: The city i live in (Århus) Has agreed to the idea. There would be built and sat up free internet in bout 2 months.
By rezadragon [Affiliate User] 1214984827 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHmm not bad there's a guy that got up to 6km with just one dish but he used a WiFi booster still nice to see that 360 degree model. Oh and by the way some people cannot get cable internet so people without one can just use those Dish signals for some.
By vador204 [Affiliate User] 1214965052 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSo does it work? its been a while since u made it. so u must have plenty of time to test it, so does this work?
By 2mustange [Affiliate User] 1212794364 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI'm interested on your design. I've got also 1 dish reached 2km. can you share me how to make 360 design? email me here. bs04c@y.c
By badwiseman3 [Affiliate User] 1210283806 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt was a college project, and i got pretty high notes for it. maybe your the 12 year old kid?
By rezadragon [Affiliate User] 1209066385 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYeah and I can leap tall buildings in a single bound..Did a 12 year old put this up here?
Good thinking kid, but this isnt a good idea at all, it wouldnt work as Dish Wifi is some half assed half cocked S**t anyway.
This is a bit expensive project. and usefull for like citys to spread the internet. kind of useless for if you just want to use it for only yourself
By rezadragon [Affiliate User] 1205878611 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removevery nice!
can you send me plans i would like to make this. thanks
Are you like a retard? what you think this is used for?
this is a device that can be used by like the state if tehy for an example want to support free WiFi internet to the people in the city or the area. if you put up a normale access point, it can probebly reach 20 meters max. with this device, it can deliver up 10 km. but you will only be able to reach 2 km sine ur laptop WiFi card or whatever you use to get the internet, wont be able to send longer distance.
