Overpopulation

Exactly why I have chosen not to bear children. Thank you for sharing this message. I'm child-free, earth-loving, and proud of my decision to try to give Mother Earth the breath she deserves so that we can all live.

All people who properly pair up and marry, have a natural God-given right to enjoy having an "uncontrolled" # of children. The 10th child is just as valuable, just as sacred of a life, likes living, just as much as the 1st child. The Nazis discredited the supposed "science" of eugenics, so why do people still cling to it? The pro-life alternative, is we have to let everybody breed. Those people are not overpop, but underdeveloped, and blaming babies only distracts from true reform.

Just a an add-on, I meant "judeo-christian, muslim, hindu (India being one of the major contributor to the population mess!!)...whatever moral bullshit". You may have rectified by yourself.

Sadly problem is that almost NOBODY on this F**king planet think outside the stupid judeo-christian, muslim, jew......whatever moral bullshit, while we are just destroying the WHOLE PLANET at an accelerated rate. People who want children should be allowed to do so, but the number MUST (by force if necessary) BE REDUCED to a maximum of TWO CHILDREN per couple. As it will never happen for many reasons (no space for this), I can tell you this planet is doomed!!

FACE THE FACTS: anybody still talking today about the RIGHT to have an UNCONTROLLED number of children is somebody who lives in a cosy place in the US or Europe.I lived in places like the Philippines, Indonesia and now Brazil. Overpopulation is REAL and that is NOT ok to have 10 children when you do not have the resources to properly educate them, SPEND JUST ONE NIGHT IN A MANILA, JAKARTA OR SÂO PAULO SLUM!! I am then pretty sure you will then change your mind (if you survive of course!!).

The solution is to encourage large families worldwide. More and more people would be glad to live. Most everybody wants or ends up having children. Children want to come alive and be welcome to be born, REGARDLESS of how many people they have to share the planet with. Of course have 5 or 10 children as parents can. Parents with "experience" raising children, are great candidates for having more, especially if they nurture/love children

Using more resources than we should? Huh? Who's to say how much resources people should use? I would say that 6.7 billion people, and growing, would need quite much resources, so that's a reason why I am so pro-development. Build more housing, more dams, more electricity power plants, more roads, whatever people need + the people need the jobs anyway. There's no good reason why to keep all the poverty. How about even more pop and less poverty? It's not "zero sum," +more resources.

Can't information and education, be used to help better ADAPT people and the planet, for higher human pop levels?

Where will we put all the additional "burgeoning billions" perhaps yet to come? How about where we have always put them? IN BETWEEN all the people already living. By pop denser, so many more people can somehow fit onto the planet. Build more suburbs, welcome cities and towns to grow bigger, start new towns. More places with lots of people. It's already working.

Environment isn't just the place outside. It's also culture. A******n is bad for people, and for the environment. It poisons people's relations with one another. A******n could kill the only child a mother will ever have. A******n breaks up relationships, for the hurt it causes. The environment can hold lots more people, and nature prefers the "new balance" of the entire human race ENLARGING so that far more people may experience life. I say A******n is good for everybody, and the environment, as long as it is somebody's choice.

The fact we have overpopulated has nothing to do with hitler, or genocide. I mean, there's different ways to solve problems than violence and extermination (information and education for example). What a nutjob.
