  • One way i do it is ...

    One way i do it is by using a vanishing point roughly in the middle of the page, and then drawing suqares around it, and drawing lines from the squares to the vanishing point. these squares are the tops of the buildings. It takes a while to get them right, but if you do, its quite good. Then, add detail, remembering to make any lines on a nertical fce (side of buildings for example) also go to the V.P.

    I don't know anything about drawing backrounds and I am still very much a beginning artist so correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you have used one point perspective to draw that picture? Is there a reason that you didn't?
