  • Thats because we ...

Thats because we believe to be a restored(brought back) religion. The original church that was lost when the apostles were martyred. What orthodox church has apostles? Jesus Christ set up his church with apostles.

  • I have no doubt ...

I have no doubt that this is a sincere testimony.

The only problem is that you can hear the exact same testimonies from Catholics, Muslims, Jehovah's Witnesses, Baptists, Pentecostals and the list goes on.

Unfortunately sincerity alone is not enough to prove or disprove religious belief. My suggestion is that we prove our faith not on personal testimony alone but on the truths of the Bible.

Don't search for truth with someone over your shoulder other than Jesus Christ.

  • i definitely ...

i definitely appreciate him sharing his story with the world. Although there are problems with blind faith when continued to infinite levels, the capacity for compassion and responsibility for each other is great. Is it possible to create this without a certain world view about the creation of the earth? Can we find ways to share, love, communicate without division in religion? Are religions moving with us and understanding these questions?

  • Finally a man who ...

Finally a man who speaks with conviction about his conversion and has the stomache to stand up for what he believes in even though it may not be the norm or the popular thing to do.

  • Dr. Hugh Nibley ...

Dr. Hugh Nibley commenting on our research (Nov 7, 2003), "...After this, those who challenge the Book of Mormon will have some heavy explaining to do."

All the new evidence pointing to geography and physical evidence found since 2003 makes the Smithsonian Institutes Statement of 1996 about obsolete.

  • lol "do you not ...

lol "do you not concur" and "in the affirmative"?. I wont jump in to either side of this argument, but using fancypants phrases doesnt make you any more compelling or convincing.

  • This is a beautiful ...

This is a beautiful conversion story and those who are humble and not full of pride will feel the spirit of truth in it. Those who have never had a spiritual experience will not understand and will of course find some excuse to justify their point of view. Spiritual experiences like these happen all the time to members who are humble and worthy of the spirit; in other words, to those who make the effort to live as Christ taught us to live; to follow his example in all things, not just talk it.

Obama gave 1% of his income to charity, Biden gave like .25% of his income to charity. Glenn Beck gives at least 10% to charity.
