A tribute to Charles Bronson's character in the movie 'The Mechanic'. Bronson was a master of stoicism, and Sergio Leone once refered to him as 'The Granite face of destiny'.

Heres hoping I captured some of that in this video.

Music - Ennio Morricone from the movie 'A Fistful of Dollars'.

Read 'em & weep...it was amazing. Before this, I'd only seen "The Mechanic" on TV. And even on TV with my DVD. This screening was amazing...the sound was so much better than the DVD. That's one reason I want a new DVD o "The Mechanic" made, because I know that a higher quality of sound does exist. The picture was cool too, not all retouched. It was kind of grainy and retro. Q. Tarantino was in the audience as was Drew Barrymore. Keep in Touch...

I'm studying to be a master of stoicism, but I keep failing because people think I'm funny.

Anyway, check out Bronson in The Sea Wolf and Telefon. Two very underrated movies.

The Mechanic is one of Bronson's best. He didn't make it big in pictures until well into middle age, but was a magnificent physical speciman even at 55, Unfortuanately he never got over the very early death of his much younger wife, Jill Ireland. Despite his tough often brutal rĂ´les he always stayed steady and calm and seemed a very likeable man.
