A rather unusual variation of the "Abstract WB" logo, taken from "Fistic Mystic" (1969).

  • The CBS network ...

The CBS network often used a portion of this William Lava score (with the "BWOOOIINGG" guitar effect 599GTBF1 mentioned in an earlier post) under a static character card to serve as a title for shorts starring a second-level or one-shot WB character.

  • This would be a ...

This would be a nice logo if it wasn't used on "Looney Tunes" shorts. I always change the channel when I see this logo, since it means a poorly-written and poorly-animated cartoon is coming on. Looney Tunes really reached their nadir in the late-60's. Although the last batch of Looney Tunes could be the worst yet for all I know.

Some of thbe Linus the Lionhearted" cartoons posted here remind me of the late 1960s WB seven arts ashort; I almost expected that LT theme on that Sugar Bear short floating around!("Head over Heels",1966.)

I think this logo would fit better with "Baby Looney Tunes" and "Loonatics Unleashed" than the classic WB shorts
