incredible!! i remember that. i was there back in 1988 when this guy crashed his 55 and the crowd went wild when he got up and walked away to his car. its nice to see that a bit of history always comes back. love it....

This was filmed almost 20 years ago. I know tracks have always had "tech inspection" but maybe they just were not very good at that track back when this was filmed..... who knows!
