In this tutorial we will strat from scratch and build a navigation bar and then convert one of

the buttons to a drop down button. We will also learn how to link the buttons within the drop

down to sites and pages out on the web!

    I'm using Flash CS3 myself and got it to work first time. So you must be doing something wrong , check the video again and see if something is wrong ;)

    Just finished making my nav bar which is exactly the same as yours. When the menu drops down and the new buttons are revealed, who do i get the new buttons to control what frame the movie is on in the main timeline rather then the timeline of the button itself.

  • You MUST select " ...

    You MUST select "New Flash Document (ActionScript 2.0)" otherwise you need to learn a whole new language. In AS 3.0, you can only apply actions to frames (which is much more effecient, but let's not get into that right now).
