I would say follow this guy's advice and condition your hair well. I'm saying it takes so much time and effort to grow hair out and you obviously want to, so follow this guy's advice. He even said, "there's an awkward phase where your hair will look all sorts of ways." Personally, everytime that I've cut my hair, I regret it and say, "Ok, I'm growing it out again." but it takes so much time to get your hair back. Don't lose progress.

its not that i care about their opinions but i also dont want it to look crappy but does long hair look good no matter what type of hair you have?
and also what do you mean "good head of hair"?

In my opinion (as someone who prefers their hair longer), I say don't worry about other people's opinions. The truth is growing long hair takes alot of dedication and good head of hair and not everyone has it. So they'll always wanna make you cut your hair short like them. Kinda weak really. I think long hair has personality and that's why I have it. If you cut it, you'll regret it and you'll be 8 months behind the progress you're at now. If anything, get it trimmed a little.
