I love this song. I know he sings in mostly some kinda made up language but i think the song is about despair and hope. Really beautiful.

He wait a minute, the song after this which blends into it is missing-- it contains one of Amiina's best string spotlights. Is it on youtube? It's track 9 on the CD.

There is no lyrics it's hopolendish,that means its bands isnvented language without any meaning.

This is my absolute favourite Sigur Ros song. I love watching them perform, Jonsi has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

It looks more like a hi-hat near the beginning of the clip. I get the same effect putting a splash on a tom. I don't have the luxury of a 16 inch tom at the moment, but when I do, and if I happen to have any spare hats lying around, hehehe...

For anyone who is new to the band, find the studio version of this, on the album Takk, turn it up and enjoy. A journey worth taking for sure.
