This is the eighth segment of the World Record SDA run on Super Mario 64 DS. I am uploading special versions of the SDA videos just to show the file select screen too. This is what I've said in my run comments

Segment 8 (Star 46, Bowser 2 Door opens)
Switch to Mario to open the 2nd Big Star Door but I'll do a star that warps Mario closer to the Big Star door after getting it.
Star 46 Princess Secret Slide "!" Box Star
This time I perform the bigger shortcut and it saves 2 or more seconds. The ground pound is less buggy so I can't destroy the box by ground pounding the side of it.
I lost around a second on the way to the big star door mainly because the D-pad input was an absolute pain.
Mario is the only character to unlock the Big Star doors.
I save warp here because, it involves swimming and a Bowser stage also changing to Luigi can complete the water levels quicker

  • You know, reading ...

You know, reading the video descriptions helps a lot before commenting quiestions like this.

The segment is short because I did a save warp / end the segmnet to change to Luigi in my next segment (he's the fastest swimmer in Dire Dire Docks).

I can see that I'm not the only one with that problem!
