this is not greek dance, these are always thief. this dance 100 percent kazak, uzbek, Lezginka, turkish style kavkaz dance...

it is quite a more internationalised variation but then anyone can do his stuff, greek dances are supposed to be living things and a basis for improvisation not monolithic expression.

This is a version for the tourists. Technically not bad though.

A lot of the steps on this are steps from all over the Balkans

I do not recognise the dance style, but unless you have scoured every Greek and Greek Cypriot island and observed the dances in each, you cannot say this is not a Greek dance.

i thought the dancing was reallly really really awesome!!!! but i do think it was a very modern spin on the traditional dancing..for example, im in a greek dance troupe and my church, and us girls would never be allowed to wear something that revealing and modern while performing our dances...and stuff like that

wow that looks so cool! this is the first time i've actually watched greek dancing. It looks like fun lol and i like the music. It's amazing that there are so many cultures and they all are awesome. If only american culture wasn't finding it's way into everything :(

This type of dance is normally danced in touristic folklore shows and it is a choreography. It is not an authentic traditional Greek dance. The music is Greek and is supposed to accompany the hassaposerviko dance but as I said previously what we see is a choreography which has included details even from Russian dance. Despite this it is a very joyful choreography and very nice show.Thanks for sharing!

I think these guys were entertaining and well rehearsed. They added a few flavors of other dance styles but what is wrong with that ? People trip on tradition and it stems from ridiculous pride...making the dances old and boring.I do know Greek dances very well, have performed at the Shrine Auditorium...so I do know good dancing when I see it !
