This is the RTM Live Telecast of the first day sitting of the 12th Malaysian Parliament (Dewan Rakyat)officially opened by DYMM Seri Paduka Yang DiPertuan Agong (King of Malaysia)on 29thApril,2008.
Altogether there will be 222 MPs' (Members of Parliament) where 140 seats are from the Barisan Nasional (BN)the ruling government and 82 seats from the opposition,which now mark the biggest number of MPs' almost 4 times more than the last 11th Parliament.The First Session of the 12th Parliament will be scheduled for 16 days up to May 27,2008.
Let's hope we can get "the best thoughts,the right actions for Malaysia's Success" where the Rakyat will finally benefit and enjoy the country's progress as a result of electing the 222 MPs' to represent them in this historic and most honourable Dewan Rakyat.
