i just started mine. and dude, ur pretty lucky. u got power saws and fresh wood. I use a 99cent saw that my grandpa bought before he died of lung cancer 16 years ago and a bunch of wood i found on the street. I hope my grandpa's saw gives me good luck...

hardened rice isnt all to hard to break. and what are u going to tie em with?

it also weakens the crossbow becuse energy has to be wasted on breaking the hardened rice. just loosely tie them together.

Heres something u can try.
Take the crossbow bolts/arrows w/e u wanna call em.
put them together in rows and make sure its tight and straight. They have to be touching.
Take a piece of steamed rice and stick it between all the bolts on both sides. That way, when the rice hardens and dries, you have a clip. You can reload faster and it might be the ancient chinese way of reloading quick and efficiently
