    We actually have many of those hunting rifles, and other rifles just as 'obsolete' on the modern battlefield today.

    We regularly use shotguns. There are also many bolt-action, large caliber rifles in use as sniper rifles.

    That, however, is also not the point of this video. I recommend reading the description for a better insight.

    Youre an idiot. First of all he is defending the gun. Second the only cartridge that is close to being twice the size is the 300 weatherby which he didnt even shoot. Third none of the rifles he shot are full autos so how can you say they are uncontrollable in automatic fire when you have no idea. Fourth, you would be able to carry more ammo for all those rifles as none of them have magazines thus cutting down on weight and space.
