I bought a tuner ...
I bought a tuner and it doesn't recognize the b string and it thinks the a string is the same as the low e string so when i play the strings open consecutively they sound exactly the same.. i've tried tuning by ear but the strings never seem to hit the right notes.

Step 1: Buy an ...
Step 1: Buy an electronic tuner.
Step 2: Learn the names of the strings.
Do both of those and you should be good to go. :)

He did mention it ...
He did mention it in the video, but like he said, it will get your own strings in tune with each other, but your guitar may be out of tune with other instruments if you're playing with anyone else.
