Sad to admit, being very old I missed out on a great deal of this music genre; my loss - what a moving wonderful rendition by Laura and her death a tragic loss.

laura owns this song; nobody does it better when she hits "...is gooooone!" just before the instrumental part. she also did this song well accompanied by some guy named "brian" on the piano in 1995

i love laura branigan, i still remember i played for how many times her album and that time was cassette. My mom or my dad bought two of her album - Branigan 2 and Self Control. I loved her song ... I loved her voice .... RIP Laura, we all miss you ...

i dont satisfied about it..listen to MICHEAL BOLTON he made it so so nice and he gaves more dimensions and emotions with every word in this song.

What a wonderful arrangement to a very sad song. I can't think of any better videos and I love the way this beautiful woman gave this stunning rendition. I just want to hold her in my arms and console her. How I miss her.

It depends when this concert took place; if it took place between 1996 and 2004 (her year of death), then she probably really was crying.

Her husband died in 1996.

I read that years later she said how she had to concentrate on thinkin'bout silly things while performing this song, 'cause she used to get so emotional she cried almost everytime she sung it. LOL!!!
