International
Little Wing performed by The Jimi Hendrix Experience at Royal Albert Hall in London, UK (24.2.1969).
This is stereo version.
Enjoy it.
they are all quality guitarist who i love
i wouldnt say one is better they r just different and it all depends on your personal preferance
heyfootballhead,
I would say SRV is superior to BB King in every category. Better soloist. Better rhythm and riff player. Better composer. Played with far more intensity, spirit, and technique. Mind you I saw SRV 5 times. I've seen BB King 3 times. I could stand on stage with a guitar in hand & feel quite confident that I could keep up with BB. Whereas SRV would crush me. SRV's ability to solo almost endlessly is so far above BB King on his best day. BB is soulful yet also quite repetitive.
ok this is how things stand...
bb king cannot and has never played rhythm.
hendrix was the best ever.
i would say king was a more soulful bluesman wheras svr was a more technically cabable player by far.
would you agree?
heyfootballhead,
Yes Jimi was the master. However Ur being evasive on the issue of BB King. The objective fact is BB doesn't, nor has he EVER played rhythm. Yet Ur claiming he's second only to Hendrix. How is it that U claim a player who has ZERO ability to play chords is the second best guitar player ever? Or have U 4gotten saying that? U also said U "wouldn't even rate SRV," which is as silly a statement as I've heard w/ regard to guitarists. Watch SRV's TESTIFY on my page & get back to me...
so,as stated before, technically, svr was better yes.
concerning the sign of a true master you or me cannot state one thing that makes a player a master... but seeing as this is a jimi video ill refer to him in saying that watever it take to be a "master", jimi has it all.
heyfootballhead,
To which King are you referring? As for the subject of BB's superiority to SRV, there isn't even an argument. Don't get me wrong, I love BB. However anyone who's put in even a modest amount of time on the instrument & has learned his major & minor pentatonics, can play BB. Not the case w/ SRV. Futher, take away BB's soloing & what are U left with? NOTHING. Take away SRV's soloing & U still have arguably the greatest RHYTHM player out there. THAT is the sign of a true master.
i listened to that song like, two days ago. its technically amzing yes but it just doesnt sound as good as king or even muddy waters.
it seems overdone. but as with every single persons comment inc. mines - its just an opinion. as long as 1 person thinks srv is the best and another 1 person thinks king is the best - they're equal. music's 100% subjective really.
Then obviously you just don't have a complete appreciation for the blues. Listen to Texas Flood, live at the El Mocambo and see if you still feel the same way. Or Lenny at that same venue.

Hendrix is indeed the best. However, the remainder of your comments are way far off. SRV was far from a Hendrix wannabee. People who claim that generally don't realize, aside from his playing a Strat & covering Hendrix tunes, SRV's style was really nothing like Hendrix. Clearly the biggest influence on his phrasing was Albert King. As far as BB, he's the 1st to admit SRV smoked him. He used to tell SRV not to hold back when they played together, but out of respect, SRV did.
i cant feel it with him.
it just doesnt sound like other blues.
it doesnt sound like king or hendrix.
i dont feel anything when he plays..
just love the music man...it doesnt matter

I didn't remember His paying lead.
I was mistaken.
After my post.
I checked B.B. Kings posts.
Listened and saw him playing lead.
Awesome playing of guiyar as well a quite a charasmatic showman!
I remeber B.B. telling the crowd about Lucille his Guitar!
Must have had to much beer at the festival...
Have you even listened to him? If you've ever watched him play, you know he's feeling it. There's a reason that he's always, without fail, ranked in top 10 lists. Sorry man, but you obviously have no appreciation for the blues if you think otherwise.
