what happened to the plane that they had to use an emergency landing?

Kyle how are you? You have a good memory about Apollo 13. But I do not think we can really relate the Apollo 13 mission with the nose gear problem on this Jet Blue Plane. Both incidents both got good press coverage though and everyone survived.

I think that is what they said about the apollo 13 mission!

Sooner or later there will be an event that we wish just never happened or could have been prevented or just another non event.
Thankfully most of these events end this way.

Belly landings, wheels up, Landing gear problems. Kind of routine to watch now are they not? Does anyone even spill their coffee?
Plane comes in slow, there are a few sparks, plane stops. Every one says "wow" what a really great pilot he was. Ho Hum......

Give him a raise. Saved 100 some lives... saved a multi million dollar plane.... yeah if thats not worth a raise I am not sure what is.
