People are finally waking up in the UK and standing up to the outrageous encroachments made by their government and the EU on their liberties and freedoms.

Brought to you by The Kick Them All Out Project http://www.KickThemAllOut.com and Fire Congress Campaign, the only campaign out there that gives us a powerful way to make sweeping changes in our government sooner rather than later.

  • Good to know that ...

Good to know that there are people opposing the stupid gun bans. I almost thought that the british have accepted such stupidities. It always makes me happy to see people marching against reducing their liberties. Fight and get your rights to have arms back! Support from Czech here!!!

  • My country has ...

My country has never taken away the right to self defence - if you are in genuine fear of your life you have a right to kill someone - that's been the law here for centuries. Your statistics on guns are one-sided. Japan has a low gun ownership rate and very low crime. Gun ownership and crime are simply not related in the way you want them to be. If you feel safer owning a gun, fine, but it's not going to lower the total crime rate.

  • Well, I think you ...

Well, I think you nailed it in your first sentence. Everyone has a right to self defense. Period. Your country should never have taken away that civil liberty. I've read statics that show more guns do reduce crimes. When criminals stand a chance of being shot, they think much harder about breaking into someone's house.

  • Every citizen has a ...

Every citizen has a right to self defence but in the UK hardly anyone has a legal right to own a handgun. Our societies are very different in this respect and you can't draw comparisons. A more valid slant to your video would have been questioning the UK legal system which seems to favour the criminals above the victims - Tony Martin was a good case in point - and our youth culture which now has knives and guns as fashion accessories. More guns is not the answer to either of these issues.

  • Not sure how you've ...

Not sure how you've come to that conclusion. a great deal of this video deals with the right of ordinary citizens to self-defense which guns provide. The march is just a small part of this video, and even in that march, people are expressing the larger issues relaed to gun rights.

  • The Tony Martin ...

The Tony Martin case caused a lot of controversy here - we was a poor old fella who was repeatedly victimised by criminal thugs and went to jail for shooting dead one of them who broke into his house. Many people feel that this was an unfair application of our laws on "Reasonable Force".

  • I am not especially ...

I am not especially anti-gun but this video is totally misleading. The street protests were about fox hunting with horse and hounds - nothing to do with guns. The guns being handed in were part of a voluntary amnesty on illegal weapons (UK has had gun controls since 1903). Sports shooters can still own guns but must keep them at their clubs. A 37% increase in gun crime is actually quite low as only about 50 gun deaths per year in the UK. Violent crime is down to its lowest level since 1981.

  • Actually it won't ...

Actually it won't happen because we have the second amendment in our countries documents. The NRA has the support of 80 million americans and is the most powerful lobbying group in the country, but that does not mean that we can just sit on our butts because politicians like to chip away at gun rights because they want more power.

  • Just look at ...

Just look at America, they're planning to conviscate guns on a mass scale, but u have to ask yourself why. Because then it will be safer for them to carry out martial law & take civillians to one of hundreds of FEMA camps, or concentration camps whatever u call them.
