Time lapse of some bush beans growing from seeds. The video was shot over a 24 hour period using a Canon GL2 video camera, and sped up 3000x.

    It's amazing to observe the movements of the plants as they grow to a full state. They have very rhythmic serpent gestures as they coil up. Makes you think about how DNA also has a double helix spiraling up. 2% is genes 98% of our DNA is called "junk dna" and is still unexplored. Ayahuasca.

    this reminds me of the biologu project we had to do for class. we were growing clovers in petri dishes. i remembered that some of them sprouted withing the hour after being introduced to water. someone should do a time lapse on clover seeds!
