  • good news bro! ...

good news bro! there is a cd of richter playing rachmaninoff with:
    Etude-Tableau op. 33
    Etude-Tableau op. 39
    preludes op.23
    preludes op.32

I have the cd so I'm not telling nonesense, just look on the internet for it! believe me, it's an amazing cd, simply amazing. I believe richter is the best pianist to translate rachmaninoff..
    good luck!

  • I have this one on ...

I have this one on LP-record, together with the 2nd concerto and some other preludes. I seems that these recordings never came out on cd. Or am I wrong?
Anyway, I can't find them anywhere, and that's a real shame, because my LP-record is getting worse and worse everytime I play it!

As Cherkassky would have said, 'there are no surprises.' The middle section is the best. Outer sections a bit four square and predictable. Horowitz offers more freedom and imagination as does Cziffra.
