    i was NOT joking, my 7i does go 40 yards further, i said in the comments it goes straighter and higher, i used to take divots before the ball and always slice the ball and not hit down on it, now i can fade it or draw it and i hit down on the ball and i can hit it 150.

    my teacher told me the opposite of your teacher, and now i hit my 7 iron, which i used to hit 85 yards, 200 yards!

    well it works though doesnt it, i used to hit a 7i 110 now i hit it 150, straighter and higher. BTW i did used to turn too much, but your club doesnt need to be horizontal with the ground at the highest point, check out robert allenby (excuse the spelling).
