    I like the horn. Actually, it is not the weight of the train that operates the crossing gates, but rather the wheels of the train. They create an electrical connection on the rail shorting out the relays. This in turn will activate the railroad crossings the same way as a train would, depending on how the motorcar's alxes are set up. If you have them connected to each other, the crossings should respond the same way they would for a train.
