TUNIS (REUTERS) - Sept personnes sont mortes et des dizaines d'autres ont été blessées lundi soir dans une bousculade lors d'un concert en plein air en Tunisie, ont rapporté mardi l'agence officielle de presse Tunis Afrique Presse et des témoins.
Le concert, rassemblant plus de 8.000 spectateurs, avait lieu dans la ville portuaire de Sfax, avec pour vedettes les participants à la Star Academy organisée par une chaîne de télévision libanaise.

La bousculade est survenue lorsque la chanteuse tunisienne Marwa a commencé à interpréter son dernier titre. Ses fans se sont alors précipités vers la scène, provoquant une bousculade dans laquelle des spectateurs ont été piétinés malgré les appels au calme lancés par les organisateurs.

Le directeur de l'hôpital Habib-Bourguiba de Sfax, Brahim Bouchrit, a déclaré à Reuters que le bilan s'élevait à sept morts et 32 blessés.

Le concert prévu samedi à Bizerte a été annulé.
