If you have only one hose for extracting both products of electrolyses, that means that you getting mixture of H2 and O. At some point when you get sufficient output you going to have to compress it which may produce very violent results.

                                I think you doing it wrong. What you are doing is separating H2O (2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen)into two molecules of Hydrogen, and one molecule of O. Each element collects on electrodes when carnet is flowing. One electrode is collecting H2 the other is collecting O.

                                            A simpler method of making the relay trigger would be to use a poteneometer in series with a large cap, say 10 or 20 mf across the relay coil. The more electronics the more likely it will fail in time. What might be even better would be an old vibrator or what we called a chopper from an old car radio if they can be found any more.                                               You should get closer to 100mpg. So a 5gal tank would be enough. If your 6cylinder was getting 8mpg; then it was real sick. Should be getting over 20mpg on gas. Keep up the good work though. This makes me want to quit my job now, and go build a fuel cell.

                                                  Have you tried Sodium Hydroxide as the Electrolyte? Wouldn't mix Alchohol in the mixture is might create a highly poisonous/deadly gas. But to keep water warm during coldest days perhapes rig a circuit with thermometer to keep water certain temp, thermometer would trigger heater coil once temp reaches close to or at freezing.

                                                    Yeah, wires should probably be 12 or 10 gauge standard automotive and not the bigger. Probably make sure for electrical safety there's a 30 Amp fuse on the end that connects to the battery so fire doesn't start.

                                                      And the heat increases to burn up bacteria and viruses in the water. This is why filtered/distilled water is preferred because the water's cleaner to begin with. Another issue is corrosion of the metals and container. I recommend keeping any conductive metal inside generator to be submerged in the liquid as long as any voltage is present, the second the metal's are exposed to air with electricity and the liquid they will begin to corrode.
