Dark Tranquility - There In

Mikael Stanne is a better growler than Anders. He's been consistent throughout all Dark Tranquilities albums, Ander's hasn't.

I don't know where exactly this debate about good growlers came, but the singer from borknagar has always been one of my favorite growlers. look into it if you're interested.

To Draclord35 - Anders has always had a weak growl? Have you heard ANY of the older stuff, Whoracle, Clayman etc? Have you also heard Anders sing F(r)iend live? That song has the best growl I've heard in awhile.. You obviously don't know what you're talking about because Anders had an amazing growl up until Soundtrack to your Escape. Before that he always had a great growl, but now he sings clearer vocals with clearer screams..I don't know if I like it better but it's all great.

I prefer the In Flames vocals so much more.

Although i do like the lyrics here..

I love the energy of this band. Saw them live with Soilwork and they both were great. The mix between harsh and clean vocals makes them interesting to listen to many times. Very similar to Opeth.

I find your comment quit funny because if you had read the already given answer you would have noticed i misunderstood the guy. I thought he meant clean vocals in ordinairy singing. Plus i know DT and frankly i don't really like his voice, it's too much grunting for me. But i can see why people like it. I personally favour in flames and iron maiden.
