OMG they looked so young! I grew up listening to the Statler Brothers. My parents listened to little else! My love of country/gospel music stemmed from these supremely talented men. Even after Lew passed away and with the addition of Jimmy, they were still awesome. Thanks for posting all of these great musical blasts from my past!

How my family always love the Statlers! My mom became good friends and pen pals with Lew until he passed away. Still love listening to these wonderful men because my dad (who passed Nov '05) constantly sang along with Don. Spectacular! Thanks for posting, cause I've never seen them this young before.

Just being nitpicky, but Lew was the tenor; he left the group in 82 and was replaced by Jimmy Fortune. Don Reid (2nd from right) was the lead singer.
