READ BEFORE COMMENTING.
This is for my english project for school, I know I'm not as thorough as I could be if I had more time, but I was supposed to keep it short. No, don't say crap about my riding, the how "not" to ride a horse was planned, and everything was fine. He was pulling for his head alot because he wasn't ridden for quite some time due to the weather and he was a bit ansy. Also, excuse the pauses in between and the stumbling of words, we were trying to film it fast so we could get in out of the cold. For the record, the last word was "horse" but it was cut off by youtube for some reason. lol.
I'll try to reply to all the comments I get on this, as I do all my videos. If somebody takes the time to tell me what they thought about my video, I'll take the time to reply. :]
I've decided to ignore and remove any of the ridiculously stupid comments I get. So if you are trying to get a rise out of me, you're wasting your time. And if it continues, I can always block you. Just letting you know. :]
STOP saying that we should've worn a helmet. We said in the video it's a good idea to wear one, did we not? It's MY choice if I want to wear a helmet or not. I know my horse and I've ridden without one all my life. My horse, my head, my choice.
i guess i can only say...cool. how many horses do you have? i do horse ridding but i dont have a horse...yet. i just need to persuade my dad a bit more. but awsome vid

By shiiuza [Affiliate User] 1212666432 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHaha yeah I probably would've too if I didn't have a time limit! lol. Yes, he's mostly arab with some shetland.
By jumper881 [Affiliate User] 1212608796 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHahahaha this was great. I tend to make things too complicated when describing how to do something, so good job on keeping it simple! Comet is way cute, Arab? Haha I love the part when your friend is doing the "how NOT to ride"..
By snchallenged66 [Affiliate User] 1212525141 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemovePosting warms up the horse's back muscles, and it's easier to post than sit the trot for most people because it gives you more balance.
By jumper881 [Affiliate User] 1212340691 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeumm sorry for being so annoying but i have another question when u trot why is it that you have to come up and out of the saddle why cant u just stay put?
By jennysweet91 [Affiliate User] 1212338522 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYes, I know that. Riding in snow causes me to lose balance more often. I'm not looking for critiques. If I was, I wouldn't be riding in snow, because that serves no justice to neither me or my horse.
By jumper881 [Affiliate User] 1212325057 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewell...when I will go to ride my horse, I will do like that!
By UrsuTimi [Affiliate User] 1212302964 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyour an ok rider but you really have to watch coming out of the saddle. in the trot, canter and gallop you came too far out of the saddle and then hard back down. its painful for the horse and often causes back problems for them down the track.

By jumper881 [Affiliate User] 1212260803 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveMounting the horse from the left side is basically a tradition and how almost all riders are taught. The horses are also trained to stand for mounting on the left side, but it's actually bettr to alternate sides if your horse will tolerate it. It's better for flexibility for the rider and strengthen's the horses' withers. But, if you mount on the right the horse may be confused and try to kick or walk away if it hasn't been mounted on the right before.
By jumper881 [Affiliate User] 1212260746 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeummm i have a question why is it that you have to get on the horse at the left side... and never the right what would happen?
By jennysweet91 [Affiliate User] 1212244710 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHahaha that was a crack up! Hay your a good rider. I don't really like helmets but I wore one yesterday when me and my horse jumped 1.20m(so I didn't die!)
Good video.
your saddle pad is super cute :) i was laughing really hard during the "how not to ride" part.
By PandaRider5 [Affiliate User] 1212089090 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveCool video helped me out a lot.... At first I was like- why are they fooling around and laughing around the horse? Wouldn't it confuse him? but then i realized you two are professional riders and the horse was probably chosen for his calness
