I think it is completely sick, these kids are being sexualized before they are mature enough to fully understood what they are doing? I watched a documentary were a 6 year old explained how to 'flirt with the judges' what the hell?

This is a form of child abuse. No doubt. Unfortunately these pageants are still legal. They should be banned. They're promoting sexually explicit images of children. You have these parents pretty much feeding them to the pedaphile masses. They can't deny who watches these pageants and who looks up these children online. Criminals. These parents should be ashamed of themselves for forcing their children onto a stage to display themselves as objects of the flesh.

their parents can't POSSIBLY say their children like this and that this is what their hobby is. maybe a little hypocritical since I show my dog. but my dogs don't mind the grooming, which is little more than a quick brushing, teeth brushing and a bath if they need it, but i don't like showing dogs who don't like to show, it's just not fun for me or the dog!

these pageants are disgusting. these girls will grow up like this and think that perfect is beautiful, thier parents should be teaching them that they don't need make-up to make them pretty, these things should be banned for under 16

i agree, most of these kids don't grow up, they fall victim like jon bennet, these parents want shooting, they really do, let the kids play their parents must be such sad people, my daughter is stunning, i have been approached by scouts looking for child models but you must be mad to do it. These kids look odd with so much make up on, and if they do make it to adulthood they will be so self obsessed and vain they will have all manner of eating disorder and the list goes on

ok pageants are not as bad as this video shows. it only one side. i do pageants myself and i love it. my moms not crazy,she asks me before every pageant if i really want to do it, and i always say yes. sure hair and makeup isnt fun, you have to sit still for a long time, but it is well worth it. having all eyes on you, big crowns, prizes, its so much fun♥

Those poor lil girls. There is no way that the want to and are enjoying that. What lil 6 y/o girl wants to stand still and have makeup put on her for hours at a time. Girls enjoy makeup, to play and use themselves. I believe the moms have a deep psycholigical issue whether it be being abused or lacked selfesteem themselves as a child. It seems like most of the moms are overwieght and are seeking the attention thru thier daughters that thay never recieved themselves as children.

they dont love this, they dont have a choice, and im sure they want to have a normal childhood
