BMW of North America head honcho Tom Purves doesn't like when you call the 2007 BMW X5 a sport-utility vehicle. We're not sure that we even finished pronouncing the "U" in SUV before Purves piped in, "SAV!" All right sure, it's a "Sport Activity Vehicle."
